Dennis E. Bourisaw 67, passed away at 7:01 am on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at home.
He was born in St. Louis on September 25, 1949 the son of Adrian and Leota (Kips) Bourisaw.
He married Sarah Jane Schmidt on June 9, 1973, she preceded him in death on January 20, 1990.
Dennis was a pipefitter for AMOCO before moving into a management position. He later worked at Wegman Electric before retiring in 2015. He enjoyed spending his time outside fishing at the lake, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his father, Pat; two children Christopher (Tracey) Bourisaw of Hendersonville, TN and Megan Bourisaw of Godfrey, IL; three step children Nick Fischer, Craig Fischer, and Kirstin Fischer; seven grandchildren TJ Ratliff, Matthew Jackson, Riley Fischer, Tristin Bourisaw, Grace Fischer, Ashton Fischer and James Fischer; four siblings Kenny Bourisaw, Jimmy Bourisaw, Jody McMackins, and Janet Stewart.
In addition to his mother, Leota, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Diane Bourisaw.
Visitation will be from 4 pm until time of memorial service at 6 pm Friday December 9, 2016 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton.
Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
