Denise Sweet

Denise Sweet, 57, passed away at 1:23 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2026, at her residence.  She was born on December 15, 1968, in Alton, the daughter of the late Harold and Delores (Plopper) Sweet.  Survivors include two sons: Alec Whitworth of Moro, Zachary Key of Jerseyville, and many other extended family and friends.

Denise was a very talented artist who loved roses, cooking, crafting, cleaning, and interior design.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Tungett, and her favorite cat, Oscar.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
