Deloris Irene Fromme, 72, passed away 11:43 pm, Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Rosewood Care Center in Alton.
Born on February 24, 1946 in Auburn, WA, she was the daughter of Delbert H. and Dorothy M. (Morrow) Brooks. She had been a registered nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Alton and VIP Manor in Wood River before retiring in 1997. She enjoyed reading.
In 1984 in Wood River, she was married to John Fromme. He survives.
Surviving also are a son, Alan (Heather) Dixon of Hartford; step-daughter, Rita Schneider of Wood River; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Lloyd Brooks of Buckley, WA, Thomas Brooks of Graham, WA; and sister, Maxine Thurston of Rochester, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Fromme, Jr; three brothers; and a sister.
A Celebration of Life Memorial visitation will be Saturday, September 15 from 1 pm until time of service at 2 pm at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
