Delores “Fronie” R. Epps, 71 departed this life on Thursday, Oct 24, 2013 at her home with her family at her side.
Delores was born January 12, 1942 to the late Fulton P. and Dorothy (Russell) Armstead. She graduated from Alton Senior High School. Ms. Armstead married the late Herschel Epps, Jr. and to this union two daughters were born.
Delores was employed with the Madison County and Evansville Indiana Housing Authorities until retirement; she also was well known cosmetologist for many years
She leaves to cherish her memories: 2 daughters, Julie A. Epps-Miliken and Marla M. Epps; 2 sisters, Josephine (Stinky) Hodges and Marie Washington of Augusta, GA.; 2 grandchildren, Jeffrey J. Miliken, Jr. and Jonathon H.(LaKeisha) Miliken; 2 great grandchildren, Caylei and Kadence Miliken; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister; Catherine James.
Visitation will convene Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until time of celebration of life service at 12:00 p.m. at Harrison Funeral Chapel. Pastor Danny Holiday will officiate.
