Debra "Debbie" J. Meyers, 64, passed away at 8:30 am on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Integrity of Wood River.
She was born on September 20, 1954 in Carlinville, IL to William Emil and Helen Mae Coatney Sanders. On July 8, 1972, she married Albert Meyers in Wood River, IL at the Southern Baptist Church.
Debbie worked for First FNB Bank in Bethalto, she enjoyed spending time with her grandsons and her Fur Babies.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Meyers of East Alton, IL; 3 children, Melissa M. Tankersley (James) of Hartford, IL, Corey M. Meyers of Fenton, MO, and Andraya D. Meyers of East Alton, IL; 3 grandsons, Michael J. Tankersley, Andrew Tankersley, and Edward Tankersley; 2 brothers, Bill Sanders of East Alton, IL and Kevin Sanders (Michelle) of West Plains, MO; 2 sisters, Mary Sanders of Alton, IL and Carol Woodruff (James) of Elizabethtown, KY; along with several nieces and nephews.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at the Elias Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton, IL.
Burial will take place at a later date at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
