Deborah Leigh Roberts, 61, passed away at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at her residence.
She was born in Alton, IL on March 1, 1952 the daughter of Maurice R. and Bernice T. (Schmidt) Roberts.
Debbie was a retired Computer Specialist for Monsanto. She had many talents and was very devoted to her faith, family and friends.
She is survived by her mother, Bernice; five brothers, Michael and his spouse Lisa Roberts of Alton, Father Don Roberts of Meppen, James and his spouse Stacey Roberts of Bloomsdale, MO, Jeffrey and his spouse Sandra Roberts of Dow, J. Andrew and his spouse Becky Roberts of Alton; four sisters and their spouses, Terese and Rick Martin of Raytown, MO, Jeanne and Joe Hoefert of Godfrey, Marci and Eric Wendle of Godfrey, Mary and John Johnson of Charlotte, NC; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Maurice R.
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
Funeral Service will be at 10 am on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Alton.
Memorials may be made to the Masses, St. Mary’s School or Marquette Catholic High School.
