Debbie LaTempt, 65 of Roxana passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023 in Jerseyville. She was born October 12, 1957 to Don and Dorine (Wieckhorst) Cummins in Alton, IL. She married the love of her life Jack LaTempt August 4, 1979. Debbie worked as beautician, cafeteria worker and preschool teacher. She lived life to the fullest and was blessed by her family and friends. She enjoyed camping, fishing, crafting, riding in her jeep, spending time with her family and being her grandchildren’s #1 fan in all of their activities. Nothing gave her more joy than her husband, boys and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jack LaTempt of Roxana; sons, Michael (Rose) LaTempt of Jerseyville and Kyle LaTempt (fiancé, Kelley Frey) of Highland; grandchildren, Riley, Grace and Faith and a brother, Ed Cummins of Wood River.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donny Cummins.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
