Debbie J. Fillback, 49, of East Alton passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at her home in East Alton. Debbie was born April 11, 1967 in Alton to the late Sally Maher. She married Scott Fillback in 1991 in Alton. From that marriage they had three children, Amanda Warren, 31, of Gillespie, Brittany Fillback, 27, of Eagarville, IL, and Scott Fillback, 25, of White City, IL. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren who she loved spending time with. Debbie was a nail tech and a stay at home mother. Debbie was a strong willed person. There was no task that she could not handle. She never took no for an answer. Debbie had nine siblings, Robert Belcher who preceded her in death, George Belcher, Fran Kortkamp, Kathy Emery, Kristy Emery, Patty Pyatt, who preceded her in death, Steven White, Greg Belcher and Peggy Emery. Debbie was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton for over 30 years. She loved the outdoors, whether it be fishing, camping or tanning in her pool, she found a way to be outside. A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Brittany Fillback.
