Dean C. Keune died Friday, June 24th in Godfrey, IL at the age of 80.
Dean was born on November 5th, 1935, in Litchfield, IL to his parents, Amos and Alice Keune. He married Jean in 1961 and moved to Springfield, IL. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 until his honorable discharge in 1964. He and Jean moved to St. Louis in 1969 where he worked as a television engineer until his retirement in 2012.
Dean is survived by his wife, Jean, and his sons Dale and his wife Robin of Clermont, Fl, Ralph and his wife Lisa of Edwardsville, IL, and Glen and his wife Andrea of Wildwood, MO. He had 7 grandchildren: Jessica, Justin, Lauren, Faith, Aaron, Anna and Stephanie, and two great-grandchildren: Eli and Natalie. He is also survived by his brother David and his wife Karen of St. Louis, MO, their sons, Jason and Matthew, and their wives and children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Alice.
Visitation will be from 10 am until time of funeral service at 12 pm Tuesday, June 28th, 2016 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, IL with Rev. Andre Dobson and Rev. Bob Burton officiating.
Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with a graveside time of 2:30 pm.
Donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Alton, IL.
