David Wagenblast

David Allen Wagenblast, 68, of Brighton, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

He was born on December 5, 1957, in Alton, the son of the late Robert and Carol (Ruedin) Wagenblast.

David married Cheryl Wood on September 29, 1978, in Mitchel, IL. She preceded him in death on August 13, 2023.

He was a dedicated father and husband, who took great care of his daughter and wife.

David is survived by his daughter Jennifer Sue Wagenblast; sister Jennifer Crawford; brothers, Dennis (Brenda) Wagenblast, Ron Wagenblast, Mike Wagenblast, and John Wagenblast.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl; parents, Robert and Carol.

Per his wishes cremation rites have been entrusted to Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton with no public services scheduled.

A private burial will be held at Asbury Cemetery.
