David Jospeh Vandergriff, 88, died at 5:33 a.m. on Monday, November3, 2025 at his residence.
He was born September 20, 1937 in Alton, the son of the late Joseph Edward and Edith Pearl (McDow) Wadlow. David served in the U.S. Army and retired from Owens IL as a mold maker in 1993.
On March 31, 1961 in Alton, he married Patsy June Lawson and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, David Edward Vandergriff of Godfrey, Brad Lee Vandergriff (Nancy) of Godfrey, five grandchildren, Velda, Joshua, Bradley, David and Victoria, four great grandchildren, Natalie, Atlas, Alice and Reese and one brother, Michael Vandergriff (Sally).
