David Loyd Strohl, III “Lead Foot”, 75, of Centralia, IL, born on December 31, 1950, in Massillon, OH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at his home.
David was a Vietnam veteran and retired truck driver as well as a loving husband who enjoyed fishing and being with his family.
Preceding David in death were his parents, David Loyd Strohl Jr. and June Jones (nee Beckner).
Left to cherish David’s memory are his beloved wife, Gail Strohl (nee Skinner) of Centralia, IL; two children, Mary Alice (Chris McCord) Strohl, Denise Lee Fix; three sisters; two brothers; five grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
