David R. Stallings 67, of Wood River passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at his home. He was born January 25, 1950 in Braggadocio, MO to Jesse F. and Opal L. (Hensley) Stallings. He was a Veteran of the United States Army Reserves.
He is survived by his son, Jesse and wife Jodi Stallings of Edwardsville; grandson, Tanner Stallings; two brothers, Glenn Stallings of Lecompte, LA and Kevin and wife Lisa Stallings of Nashville, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents: two brothers, Larry and Jesse Stallings and a sister, Cynthia Simpson.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights. Online guestbook available at www.paynicfh.com.
