David J. Musgrave, 91, of Leesburg, Florida peacefully went to be with our Lord on April 7, 2026 at his home with family by his side.
He was born in Alton, Illinois to Clay E. and Fannie A. (Peek) Musgrave in 1935.
David graduated from Alton High School in 1953, and earned his Bachelor's degree from Shurtleff College/SIUC in 1958. He began his career as a beloved and respected teacher/coach in the Southwestern School District in 1958 and continued in the Alton School District and Southwestern School District until his retirement in 1990.
David was proceeded in death by his parents and 2 brothers in law.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ellen (Wolff) Musgrave, a son and his wife Ron (Claudia) Musgrave, a daughter and her husband Rebekah (Scott) Burns, his Grandchildren, Heather (Zach) Hartley, Kaleigh (Alex) Moran, Jack Musgrave, Amanda, Justin and Emma Draime, and his Great Grandchildren, Macaylah, Westyn, Ephie, and Eliza. He is also survived by his 2 brothers and sister's in law, Charles (Toby) Musgrave, and Richard (Kathy) Musgrave.
To honor his request, there was a small family gathering in lieu of formal services.
