David Earl Logan, 77, of Medora, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
He was born on September 27, 1948, in Alton, the son of the late Russel and Mary (Powell) Logan.
David married Genevieve Spangler on February 27, 1969, in Alton. She preceded him in death in 2011.
He was a lineman and electrician for Central Electric before he retired. David loved spending time in his garden, fishing, boating, camping, splitting wood, and having a Chick-Fil-A sandwich and strawberry shake or Hurt’s Donuts.
David is survived by two daughters, Penny (John) Morgan and Melissa Logan; five grandchildren, Krysten (James) Jordan, Mariah Morgan (Clayton Schrock), Alyssa (Andrew) Cease, Mendy Romans, and Monique Romans; eighteen great grandchildren; two siblings Russel (Evelyn) Logan and Marilyn (Jerry) Clevenger.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents; brother Bob Starr.
Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of memorial service at noon on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.
Burial will follow at St. Denis Cemetery in Shipman.
Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
