David Jokerst

David Boyce Jokerst, 71, of Belleville, IL, born March 26, 1955, in Lafayette, IN, died Monday, July 6, 2026, at his residence.

David worked as a carpenter at the St. Louis Art Museum for more than 20 years. He loved listening to music and watching movies. David was musically gifted and played several instruments, including the guitar and the clarinet.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rosemary, nee Greene, Jokerst.

Surviving are two sisters, Robin (Jerry) Hensley, and Carol (Tom) Hyatt, and a niece and two nephews, Mindy (Don) Killian, Joseph (Niki) Maloney, and Alexander Hyatt.
