David Lance Jobe Sr., 63, of Granite City, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, while in hospice care.
Born on May 30, 1962, David was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother.
He is survived by his five children: David Jobe Jr., Katara Jobe, Jason Jobe, Alyssa Jobe, and Jacob Jobe; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his sister, all of whom will cherish his memory and the time they shared with him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother.
David had a deep love for music and especially enjoyed playing the guitar in his free time. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, the joy he brought to others through his jokes, and his lifelong love of music.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
