Darrin Rust

Darrin M. Rust, 54, of Glen Carbon, Illinois passed away at 1:23 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at his home.  He was born September 22, 1965 in, a son of the late Duane Rust and Doris Jr. “Suni” and Robert “Bob” Lee.  He married Cindy Rust in April 1996 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Glen Carbon and she survives. He had worked many years with information systems at Ralston Purina and UniGroup in St. Louis.  Darrin loved sports and enjoyed his days of playing golf, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and watching football.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by his twin children, Nicole Rust and Nathan Rust of Glen Carbon; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debi and Dennis Scherschel of Highland and Delinda and Larry Bowling of Bloomington, Indiana; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carole and Ron Bridick of Granite City; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Deron and Laura Bridick of Granite City; several nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
