Darrel Wooden, 59, passed away 12:09 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2016 at his residence.
Born on June 30, 1956 in Granite City, he was the son of Robert D. "Bob" Wooden of Bethalto and the late Ruth M. (Benner) Wooden.
He had been a computer technician.
Surviving are his father; brother, Doug (Lori) Wooden of Brighton; sister, Dawn (Don) Cassity of Kansas City, MO; several nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews; as well as his beloved dogs, "Frosty" and "Peyton".
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Pastor Gary Payne will officiate.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the 5 A's Animal Shelter in Alton.
