Darlene Marie Lobmaster, 83, passed away at 10:10 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017, at her home in Wood River.She was born November 5, 1933, in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of the late Herbert and Helen (Bunning) Rathgeb.Darlene married her first husband, Earl Fay. After he passed away, Darlene married Louis Lobmaster on June 10, 2001, in Wood River. He also preceded her in death.Prior to retirement she was a key punch operator for the railroad for 24 years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Wood River and the American Legions Ladies Auxiliary, also in Wood River. She enjoyed working in her garden, shopping with her friends, and spending time in her home.Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Karen and Neil Huff of Rosewood Heights; one granddaughter, Megan Fay; and one step grandson, Shawn.In addition to her two husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Fay.Cremation rites have been accorded.In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to 5A’s in Alton.Online condolences can be given at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com.
