Danny Vaughn

Daniel Thomas "Danny" Vaughn, 44, of Marshfield, Mo. lost his fight with cancer on June 27, 2026.

Born in Alton, IL May 20, 1982, Danny was the beloved husband of Rachel (Harris) Vaughn and their daughters Dublyn (9) and Darbey (8). He was also the beloved son of Chip and Trisha Vaughn, and the beloved brother of Amy Vaughn.

He will be sorely missed by his aunts and uncles Jeff (Mary) Vaughn, Rick (Sheila)Vaughn, Patti (Steve) Galbreath, Kati (Martin) Perez, David Vaughn, Janice Higgins and Rosemary Higgins; and his mother and father in law Lori Newman-Hall and Jerry Harris & brother in law Steve (Stephanie) Harris, as well as many, many cousins and countless friends.

Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia "Trisha" (Higgins) Vaughn, grandparents Al and Marge Vaughn, Tom and Posie Higgins and uncle Greg (Janet) Vaughn.

Danny was a respected and valued service manager at the Subaru Dealership in Springfield, Mo. for many years. He was an alumnus of Marquette High School (Alton, IL) and Southern Illinois University (Edwardsville, IL).

Known as an all-around good guy and as a super dad, Danny had a great sense of humor and could make people laugh wherever he went. His warm heart, laughter and caring spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten. He will be cherished forever by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the memories he gave us and the love he shared so freely. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and in the people who loved him beyond words.
