Danielle M. Lewis, 42, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016.
Born Apr. 7, 1974 in El Paso, Tex., she was the daughter of Danny L. Lewis and Peggy (Saine) Lewis.
She worked as a caretaker in the home health care field, but taking care of people was more than a job. She worked very hard to take care of anyone who needed it, especially her son and her dad. She would tell anyone that would listen about her son, Dan. She was so proud of him, and constantly reminded him of how proud she was. Danielle loved time with her nieces, and she also loved her dogs.
She is survived by her son, Dan (Cheyenne) Brickner of Charleston, Ill.; a sister, Melissa (Scott) Antoine of Godfrey; her stepmom, Kathy Lewis of Godfrey; and two nieces and a nephew.
Memorial visitation will be at Paynic Home for Funerals on Wednesday, Dec. 21 from 6 p.m. until memorial services begin at 7 p.m. Terry McKinzie will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the family, in care of the funeral home.
