Daniel (Danny) Francis Inlow, known by many as "Dan, Dan the Fisherman” of Hardin, Illinois, passed away on February 16, 2026.
The Beloved Husband of Cindy Inlow, sharing a loving marriage of Thirty-Two years.
Born June 17, 1955 in Carrollton Illinois and predeceased by his father Bobby Eugene Inlow, Mother Pearl June Jacobsen, Stepfather Lowell Jacobsen, Brothers Tommy and Mike and dear Brother In Law John Betts. Dear Son in Law to Ann Godar and the late Stephen Godar of Hardin Illinois. A loving brother of sisters Brenda (Bob) Cason, Debbie Betts, Theresa (Dan) Ford, Charlotte Roy (Dena Knap) and brothers Steve (Dean) Inlow and Mark Inlow. Brother in Law to Dennis (Molly) Godar, Linda (Bud) Proctor, David (Karen) Godar, Ruth (Kent ) Lee and Steve (Rhonda) Godar.
Beloved by many Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces and Cousins who will always cherish his many talents and passions for fishing, hunting, craftsmanship and a host of interests Including fabricating specialized equipment perfecting various aspects of water sporting gear and high end building structures purposed for their storage needs.
He was employed as a Master Welder for many years with Grossman Iron and Steel in St. Louis, National Maintenance and Mikes Inc. where he worked on barges and specialized hydraulic equipment. He developed a professional relationship with OK Fastener Company widening his interest and later forming his own fastener company.
While sharing a quiet life with his bride, together they enjoyed hanging with his fishing and deer hunting buddies Ray Bruin, Perry Stillman and Jeff Justice, to name a few. His family and many friends were his greatest love.
A memorial visitation will be Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Additional information and online guestbook may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com.
