Daniel Glenn Kaul, 68, was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 1:06 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2017.
Danny was born on October 6, 1949 in Austin, TX. He was the third of six sons of the Rev. Dr. Arthur O. and Beulah B. (Solberger) Kaul.
Surviving is his mother, Beulah B. (Solberger) Kaul; two brothers, Jonathan M. and Luther V. Kaul; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Dr. Arthur O. Kaul and three brothers, Arthur, Timothy and Mark.
Danny was a very special, kind, gentle and loving child of God. With his steadfast faith, he always did the best he could throughout his life within the limits of his mental disability. Danny always said “when Jesus tells me to come home, I won’t be handicapped anymore”.
Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Burial will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church in Cottage Hills.
