Danie Dorman

Danie L. Dorman, 58, passed away at 6:05 am Saturday September 16, 2017 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.He was born on September 8, 1959 the son of the late William Danie and Susy (Lami) Dorman.He married Sherrie Smith on August 15, 1981 in Wood River.  She survives.He worked as a manager at J. C. Penney for 32 years before spending a few years as an administrator at the Wood River Moose Lodge.In addition to his wife, Sherrie, he is survived by two children, Holly and her husband Chris Deardeuff of Bethalto and Matthew Dorman and his significant other Whitney Abert of Bethalto; a granddaughter Katelyn Deardeuff; a brother Stephen and his wife Violet Dorman; a niece Amie Dorman and nephew Chris Dorman.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday September 19, 2017 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.Funeral Service will be held at 11 am Wednesday September 20, 2017 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.Memorials may be made to the family.An online condolence and guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com .
