Dan William Bodenstab, 73, passed away February 2, 2021, at University Nursing and Rehab Center in Edwardsville.
Born October 21, 1947 in Springville, NY, he was the son of Dr. Ernst W. Bodenstab, Phd. and Virginia Louise (Myers) Bodenstab.
He had been a technical writer for the Hussmann Corporation in Bridgeton, MO before retiring.
He is survived by three daughters, Amy Bodenstab, Abigail (James) Gauen, Virginia (Rev. Bill) Voelker; seven grandchildren, Bill and Gideon Voelker, Aurora Herbert, Steven, and Samuel Janssen, Matthias and Titus Gauen; brother, Dr. David (Kathy) Bodenstab, PhD; sister, Bonnie (Bill) Basset; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held from 12-1 pm, Saturday, February 6 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wood River. Pastor David Schultz will conduct a private service following the visitation.
Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
