Dale L. Arnold, age 43 died at 6:05 pm on Sat., October 31 2009 at his residence. He was born on November 28, 1965 in Jacksonville the son of Keith and Marilyn (Hubbard) Arnold of Fosterburg. He was an inside sales rep for Cintas Corp. in St. Louis and a member of the Godfrey First United Methodist Church.
Dale loved God, life, family, friends and helping others. He served his church and the community; and his life has and always will be an inspiration to many.
On July 27, 1991 in Godfrey he married the former Betsy Ruyle and she survives. Also surviving are two brothers; Doug Arnold (Shirlene) of Brighton and David Arnold of St. Louis, a sister; Lauri Arnold of Ft. Worth, TX, one niece and nephew; Shane and Jessica Arnold of Brighton and his mother-in-law; Sandra Ruyle of Godfrey, brother-in-law and his family; Richard Ruyle (Marcia) of Staunton, nephew; Tim Ruyle (Sherry) of Jackson, TN and great nephews; Caleb and Cole Ruyle, sister-in-law and her family; Ann Hoffstetter (Ron) of Staunton, niece; Erica Bottini (Joe) of Staunton, great niece & nephew; Cadie Parker and Joey Bottini, brother-in-law and his family; Jeff Ruyle (Jo Ann) of S. Roxana, nephews; Sgt. Chris Hester serving with the U.S. Army in Germany and Jari & Michael Ruyle.
Dale was preceded in death by a brother; Darrin Arnold and a sister; Kelly Arnold, his father-in-law; Dwight E. Ruyle, his paternal and maternal grandparents and other family and friends. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday at the Godfrey First United Methodist Church on Airport Rd. with Rev. Don E. Long Jr. officiating. Burial will be private.
