Daisy G. Kruse passed away October 25, 2018
She was born February 20, 1927, in Alton, the daughter of Alejandro and Leona (Osborn) Lopez and raised by her Mother and Step Father, Antonio and Leona Rocha.
Daisy married Melvin Kruse on January 20, 1945 and he preceded her in death on June 1, 2000. They shared 55 years of marriage.
Daisy is survived by a daughter, Toni Eichorn of Alton; granddaughters, Margaret Eichorn and Sara Lawrence (David) both of Alton; great grandchildren, Jay, Eli and Melanie Lawrence of Alton; cousins, Lupe and Margarita Rocha of Mexico, Esther Osorio and Maria Castro of California, Jesse Rocha of Texas; and estranged grandson, Andrew Eichorn and his sons, Devin and Drew; and her companion Jacob Spa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret Quigley; brother, Alex Lopez; and son-in-law, John Eichorn Jr.
The family wishes to thank OSF Hospice for their care and compassion, and the staff at Integrity in Alton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018, from 6:00 pm until 8:00pm at the Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton, IL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, November 2, 2018, at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton, IL. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery in Godfrey.
Memorials may be given to The American Diabetes Association, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, or Masses at St. Mary’s.
