Cynthia L. Fowler, 65, passed away 4:04 am, Sunday, July 22, 2018 at her residence.
Born in Wood River on May 26, 1953, she was the daughter o Albert J. and Patricia R. (Chapman) Courto.
She had been a waitress at the Bethalto Pancake Ranch.
Cynthia enjoyed watch and caring for her grandchildren over the past seven years. She loved family and enjoyed reading, sewing, crafts, yard work, and doing and re-doing projects around the house.
On March 11, 1972 in Hartford, she married John H. Fowler. He survives.
Surviving also are two sons, John D. (Jenny of Edwardsville, Terry J. Fowler of Bethalto; two grandchildren, Logan and Hailey Fowler; brother, Allen (Ginger) Courto; sisters, Ruth Huntsman of Edwardsville and Tina Skiff in Texas.
Cremation services were accorded.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River was in charge of arrangements.
