Crystal Lachelle Lane was born February 7, 1986, to the union of Norman and Joyce Lane in Alton, IL. Crystal is preceded in death by both Grandmothers Ordean Perry -Cousett, Viola Hitchcock- Nance.
Crystal loved the Lord and gave her life to Christ at a young age. She attended the Alton School District until her teenage years when she moved to Greeneville, IL. Crystal never had children, but she loved her nieces and nephews like they were her own.
Crystal was about peace and family. She wasn’t the type of person to cause problems.
On December 31, 2021, Crystal entered eternal rest peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.
Crystal leaves to cherish her parents: Norman Lane Sr. (Yulanda) of Carlinville, IL, and Joyce Lane of Litchfield, IL; her brothers: Christopher Cousett of Belleville, IL, Everett Cousett of Joliet, IL, Norman “Josh” Lane Jr of Alton, IL; her one and only sister: Jaclyn Lane; the love of her life for fourteen years, Shaffer Gilmore Jr; her cat “mini me” that she loved dearly, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
