Courtney Stephens

Courtney Allison Stephens, 35, of Granite City, Illinois, passed away peacefully with family by her side at 1:54 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois.

She was born on December 8, 1990, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Rebecca (Stephens) Miller of Granite City and Russell Holliday of Arkansas.

Courtney loved playing soccer, coloring, and was an avid reader. She brought joy to those around her and cherished the time she spent with her family. Courtney loved her nieces and nephews dearly and treasured the time she spent with them.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two sons, Camden Stephens and Carson Holliday; her dad, Brian Miller of Granite City, her grandmother and best friend, Wanda “Mowie” Jackson of Granite City; her grandmother, Connie Stephens of Granite City; and four siblings: Kaylee (Geo) Holliday of Granite City, Josh (Crystal) Holliday of Wood River, Illinois, Charles (Brittany) Miller of Granite City, and Alexis (Justin) Johnson of Westminster, Colorado.

She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews: Zayden, Jovanny, Elliana, Carson, Isabella, Oliver, Raelynn, Remy, Lucas, Baby Johnson.

She is also survived by her best friend, Erin Hart, her aunts, uncles, extended family members, and many other friends who will miss her greatly.

Courtney was preceded in death by her grandfather, Harry Stephens.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
