Cory L. Frye, 41, passed away 5:05 am, Thursday, May 30, 2019 in Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Alton on September 24, 1977, she was the daughter of Marilyn (Rieckenberg) Frye of East Alton and the late Michael Lee Frye.
She had worked with Challenge Unlimited in Alton for 20 years. Cory participated in the Special Olympics for many years.
Surviving are her mother; sister, Jill (David) Oller of Maryville; aunts, Marsha Ehlers of Chester, Mila Bierman of Steelville, IL, Karen (Dave) Youngberg of Murphysboro; niece, Riley Oller; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father and uncle, Jerry Ehlers. a very special, dear friend, Bev Thomas of Wood River.
Visitation will be from 2 pm until time of service at 4 pm Sunday, June 2 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Memorials may be made to Challenge Unlimited or St. John United Church of Christ in Wood River where she was a member.
She provided life for other through Organ Donation.
