Constantine Michaeloff

Constantine “Mike” Michaeloff, 92, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Cedarhurst Memory Care in Granite City.

He was born February 18, 1933, the son of the late Costa and Tsana (Kalemoff) Michaeloff.

He married the love of his life, Patricia G. (Passmore) Michaeloff on August 31, 1968, at the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Granite City.

He was a longtime faithful and active member of Sts. Cyril and Methody Orthodox Church in Granite City. The United States Army veteran proudly served his country during the Korean War and was also a member of the Granite City Masonic Lodge. Mike cherished his dogs, enjoyed his days of traveling, loved watching hockey and was a fan of the St. Louis Blues.

In addition to his beloved wife of 57 years, he is survived by two nephews and their wives, Ryan and Amanda Passmore of Collinsville and Gary and Janine Passmore of Princeton; two great nephews, Freddy Passmore and Adam Passmore; special cousin, Tasha Michael of Canada; many other cousins in Toronto, Canada; extended family and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Goni Michaeloff.

In celebration of his life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until time of a Panikhida Service at 7:00 p.m.

A Liturgical Funeral Service will be held at Sts. Cyril and Methody Orthodox Church in Granite City at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025. Father Nicholas Finley will officiate.

Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.

Memorials may be made to Sts. Cyril and Methody Orthodox Church or to the Granite City APA and may be accepted at the funeral chapel.
