Constance Roberta Watkins, 77, passed away 2:33 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2016.
Born August 31, 1939 in Higbee, MO, she was the daughter of Alvin Heathman and Constance E. (Kirby) Suire.
A letter carrier and clerk for the U.S. Postal Service in Roxana for 30 years, she retired in 2000.
A member of the Wood River Eagles and Women of the Moose Lodge #1349, she enjoyed fishing and traveling to Las Vegas and Tunica, MS.
Surviving are three sons, Gregory Watkins of Hartford, Christopher Watkins of East Alton, Patrick Watkins of Brighton; six grandchildren; half-brother, Joe Suire of West Virginia; two sisters, Sandra Kay Gantz of Rosewood Heights, Robin Burns of East Alton; and long-time companiion, Ron King of Wood River.
Her parents; and brother, Ronald Heathman preceded in death.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River, where services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Burial will follow in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
