Connie Louise Barach, 51, passed away 7:14 p.m., Friday, March 9, 2018 at University Hospital in Columbia, MO.
Born March 15, 1966 in Granite City, she was the daughter of John,Jr. and Shirley Ann (Ellebrecht) Barach.
She had been a respiratory therapist in the SSM Mercy System.
Connie enjoyed being a "sports mom", shuttling her son from event to event. She had a big heart helping and assisting others and a love for photography and capturing images and moments.
Surviving are a son, Ashton Barach of Wood River; brother, Steve Barach of East Alton; three sisters, Sally Barach of Edwardsville, Diana (Steve) Janda of Peoria, and Vicki Barach (Jerry Cover) of Waterloo.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m.Thursday and continue from 9 a.m until time of service at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wood River. Pastor George Gude will officiate.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to an educational fund for Ashton Barach.
