Claudia Lee Hopper, 69, of Gillespie, IL, died at Springfield Memorial Hospital, Springfield, IL on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 4:54 pm. She was born July 3, 1956, in Litchfield, IL to George T. Tallman & Dolores M. Balma Tallman.

She married Michael A. Hopper on December 28, 1975 in Gillespie, IL. He preceded her in death on August 20, 2000. She was a home care aide. Claudia enjoyed bingo and playing cards.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Bednar of Gillespie, IL, nieces, Shannon O'Hara, Jackie Brimberry, great nieces and nephews, Brittany (spouse, Nathan Cox) Hopper, Savanna (companion, Joel Vazquez) Bednar, Brett Brimberry, Brianna (spouse, Dr. Tyler) Lytle, Abbey Brimberry, Johnathan Edwards, Vanessa Edwards, great great nephews, Eduardo, Silas, Aurora, Cameron.

Claudia was preceded in death by her parents and spouse.

Friends may call on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Funeral services are Friday, November 14, 2025 at 5:00 pm at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie.
