Chuck Andrew Bishop, 55, of East Alton, IL. passed away Friday October 6, 2017, at Alton Memorial Hospital, Alton, IL.
Chuck was born on February 7, 1962 in St. Louis, MO. He is the son of Marvin and Shelby (Nelson) Bishop. Chuck married his wife Melissa Ralston on April 11, 2010 in Wood River. IL, and she survives.
Chuck was retired from Jack in the Box INC. in Wood River as a manager and also Laclede Steel in Alton working as a security guard. He was a member of the Bluff City Bikers Assoc. in East Alton. He enjoyed riding his bike, poker runs, trivia, and spending time with his family and friends.
Chuck is also survived by two children, Carie Louise (Bishop) Simpson, and Chuck Andrew Bishop Jr, both of Texas; his mother Shelby Bishop; three siblings Scott & Susan Bishop, of East Alton, Kelly Bishop, of Colorado, and Rachael & Christopher Campbell, of South Roxana; two grandchildren Dylan, and Morgan Simpson; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Marvin Bishop.
Visitation will be from 3 pm until time of service at 6 pm on Tuesday October 10, 2017, at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Rev. Daniel Renfro of East Side Community Church officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in lieu of flowers.
