Christopher Winfree

Christopher D. Winfree, 29, of Bunker Hill, IL, died in Staunton, IL on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 12:28 pm.  He was born December 7, 1993, in Alton, IL to Chris D. Winfree & Laurie A. Eldridge Winfree.  His work included being a locksmith, working at Alton Steel Mill and working at Eaton Co.  Christopher enjoyed working out at the gym, mushroom hunting with friends and gaming.  He is survived by his father, Chris Winfree of New Douglas, IL, mother, Laurie Winfree of Bunker Hill, IL, sister, Shasta (Eric) Lievers of Interlachen, FL, niece Kamea "Alex" Lievers, grandmother, Lucille Eldridge, aunts and uncles, Sandy Eddinger, Diana Chestnut, Donna Hancock, Steven Eldridge, Gary Eldridge, Dale Eldridge and many cousins.  Christopher was preceded in death by his brother, David "DJ" Winfree.  Visitation will be on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Bunker Hill Community Center, Bunker Hill from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Bunker Hill Community Center, Bunker Hill at 12:00 pm.  Memorials are suggested to wishes of the family.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.
