Christopher Alton

Christopher M. Alton age 42 received eternal rest and peace on Saturday November 1, 2014 at St. Francis Heart Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma after an extended illness. He was the son of the late Herman and Ernestine (Warlick) Alton. He was a graduate of Alton Senior School in Alton,IL.  Christopher was an avid sports fan  He has always been well known for his funny and mischievouos personality.  He was known for being firecely protective of family and friends. He is survived by his sister, Jennifer Alton, his son, Darrius Alton; his daughter Aubrey Alton; an aunt Doris (Zeno) Elliott and uncles Henry Anderson and Walter McKamie, his girlfriend  Stacey Swank and her children, whom he cared for as his own, Lashondalynn Watts, Toneka Vernon, and grandson Andres Martin, a host of other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his aunts, Alice Anderson, Dorthy Wise, Sandra Huddleston, Rosietta Patrick, Marguerite (babe) Alton and an uncle Patterson Warlick.Arrangements Friday November 7, 2014 from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. at Cathy M. Williams & Sons Funeral Home in Alton.
