Christopher Llewellyn

Christopher D Llewellyn, 56, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Alton Memorial Hospital.  

He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on May 10, 1961, the son of the late Vernon E. and Joan A (Fouch) Llewellyn. He married Christine I. Ryan on October 23, 1987 in St. Louis, Missouri. Christopher retired as a mechanic for the Hazelwood School District in 2010.  He enjoyed the outdoors, tending to his plants, and visiting the Florida beaches.  He was an exceptional dado and enjoyed spending time with his sons.In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Alexander M. Llewellyn (fiancée Andrea Wolfe) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. and Zachary T Llewellyn of Alton; a sister, Mary K. Johnson of Milan, IL., a brother, Berne Llewellyn of Boca Raton, FL; his father and mother in law, James and Judith Ryan of St. Louis, MO., a brother in law, David Ryan (fiancée Tricia Will) of St. Louis, MO., a sister in law, Andrea (Lance) Meyerpeter of St. Louis, MO. and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother in law Don JohnsonVisitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton.A Memorial Service will follow visitation at 2:00 pm on September 30, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Fr. John Wykes, O.M.V. officiating.
