Christopher “Chris” D. Belden, 49, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at his home.
Born Apr. 14, 1969 in Alton, he was a son of Russell D. Belden and Margaret (Heskett) Belden.
Chris was a musician. He was very kind, playing guitar and donating his time in many local nursing homes and rehabilitation centers.
He married Kathleen “Kathy” Whalen Sept. 10, 1989 in Godfrey. She survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Matthew Belden of Rosewood Heights; his mother, Margaret Belden of East Alton; a sister, Dana Brusso of Hartford; and a brother, Rodney Scott Belden of Carlinville.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, June 7 at Paynic Home for Funerals.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home, in care of the family.
