Christa Joyce

Christa Marie Joyce, 36, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 in Alton.  She was born September 24, 1980 in Alton.  From the beginning she was known for her dimpled smile and her contagious giggle, which she will also be remembered for. She is survived by her grandmother, Dorothy Joyce, her mother and father, Connie (Brooks) Harrington and David Joyce, her sisters, Whittney Joyce and Samantha Harrington, her brother, Clayton Tolen, and most importantly her son, Caleb Haynes, her legacy to the world, and he will carry on her spirit.  She will graciously be joining her brother, Justin “Buddy” Joyce, and her favorite Aunt Patty Joyce.  She will be received with open arms and angel wings.  Her life will be remembered on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Open Door Fellowship Church, 929 Milner Street, Alton, with a visitation from 6:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7:00 p.m.  Pastor Paul Meggos and Pastor David Landry will officiate.  Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
