Charles W. Rust, 69, passed away at 9:23 pm Thursday May 25, 2017 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
He was born on July 26, 1947 in Bunker Hill, IL the son of Henry & Faye (Chapman) Rust.
Charles married Brenda Barth on August 20, 1977 in Bethalto, IL she survives.
He was a Vietnam Veteran and worked at Olin Corporation as a millwright for 35 years and retired in 2008. He loved woodworking, welding, an

He enjoyed listening to bluegrass, collecting watches and keeping up with technology.Charles is survived by his wife, Brenda Barth-Rust of Bethalto and a daughter, Alexandra Rust of Ballwin, MO and was preceded in death by a daughter, Brittany Rust.Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Thursday June 1, 2017 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto where funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday June 2, 2017.Burial will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors.Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto is in charge of arrangements.Online condolences and guest book can be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.comd machine repair.
