Charles Enlow

Charles E. Enlow, 78 passed away at 9:41 am, Monday, November 30, 2015 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born November 17, 1937 in Charleston, IL, the son of the late Arley and Mary (Braden) Enlow.

He married Ruby Toenyes in Union City, TN on August 7, 1957. She survives. Charles was a member of the First Family Church in East Alton.

He enjoyed bowling and gambling, his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He is survived by a his wife and one daughter and her spouse; Jewel and John McClain of Alton, a grand daughter; and her spouse; Crystal and Josh Nolan of Alton and one grandson; Brendan McClain of Alton, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Marjorie Wilson and Jess Enlow.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm, Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton. Funeral Services will be at 1 pm, Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton, IL, with Rev. Randy Vollmar officiating. Burial will follow at the Upper Alton Cemetery in Alton, IL.
