Charles “Chuck” Deon Brooks, 53, of Girard, passed away tragically in an automobile accident on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
He was born on July 31, 1972, in Alton, the son of the late Daniel and Katharine (Partridge) Brooks.
Chuck was a construction laborer for McBride and Sons Homes in St. Louis. He enjoyed collecting everything from Hot Wheels to Baseball and Football cards; watching Cardinal and Chiefs games. Chuck was a good friend who was always willing to help others. His greatest joy was his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by three children, Kayla Brooks (Aaron Traynor), Tyler Brooks, and Dylan (Elizabeth) Brooks all of Bluffton, IN; eight grandchildren, Dismay, Jasper, Aidan, Mason, Morgan, Maribella, Maymi, and Monroe; two siblings, Danny (Karen) Brooks and Rosa “Kris” Brooks; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Katharine.
Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of memorial service at noon, on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.
