Chanhouane Vongprachanh, 76, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on March 12, 1949 in Vientiane, Laos to Keo and SuanVongprachanh.
Chanhouane married Khamphy Louangsiyotha in Vientiane, Laos.
He loved cooking, spending time with his grandchildren, and fishing. He also enjoyed spending quality time around his family and friends.
Chanhouane is survived by his wife, Khamphy; daughters, Lami Ennen, Naeng Vongprachanh, Skye Khatiya (Thai); 13 siblings from the Pengtakoon family, Inthavong-Vorachack family, Vongprachane family; and several grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter Koco Vongprachanh.
A Buddhist ceremony will be held 1:00 pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, IL.
