On Saturday, April 8, 2017, Casey Allen Mullaney, 42, of Godfrey, IL went to sleep and woke in the arms of Jesus, his Savior. Casey’s brilliant, sunshine-like smile, encouraging strength, and tender, fun-loving heart will be missed by those who call him son, daddy, brother, friend. Casey was born October 17, 1974 in Tulsa, OK to Jerry Allen and Diana Kay (Edwards) Mullaney. He lived in Oklahoma and Texas until 1991 when his family came to Godfrey. Upon graduation from Alton Senior High School he served his county in the Army and then graduated from SWIC Police Academy in 2000. Upon graduation he found an outlet for service again as a Fire Fighter with the Alton Fire Department until 2009. Casey is survived by his parents; his older sister, Maureen Williams and nephew Mason H. Williams of Sequin, TX; nephew, Ben Fisher, and niece, Keira Fisher of Edwardsville; and his beloved sons, Curtis Joseph “CJ” and Jordan Michael. His little sister, Kate (Mullaney) Fisher, preceded him in his heavenly journey in 2015. They will be laid to rest together. Casey’s life will be joyously shared at a Memorial Party at Rolling Hills Golf Club in Godfrey from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2017.
