Carrie Kay Floyd, 46, passed away 10:41 p.m., Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at OSF St. Anthony's Health Center in Alton.
Born in Alton on September 8, 1971, she was the daughter of Phillip Lynn Tash of Bethalto and the late Sharon Ruth (Will) Tash.
A home healthcare provider for the "Help At Home" agency in Wood River, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was a member of the Joyful Messengers Nursing Home Ministries.
On December 29, 1994 in Edwardsville, Carrie married Darrin Floyd. He survives.
Surviving in addition to her father and husband are a son, Daniel Lee Floyd of Godfrey; daughter, Kelsie Kay Floyd of Godfrey; two grandchildren, Savannah Grace Skelton and Elliott Michael Mook; and two sisters, Christine Ruth Tash and Casey Lynn Ambrose bot of Bethalto.
Her mother and a daughter, Natasha Grace Floyd preceded in death.
A Celebration of Life Service will begin with a visitation from 9a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 7 at the River of Life Family Church in Alton. Pastor Fred Church will officiate.
Interment will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto at a later date.
Memorials may be given to River of Life Family Church, where she was a member.
