Carolyn Jean Grandone, 85, of Gillespie, IL, died at her residence on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at 10:50 p.m.
She was born June 21, 1939, in Bunker Hill, IL to Francis Stone & Irene Papes Stone.
She married Jerry Grandone. She was a beautician. Carolyn enjoyed traveling to her sons in California.
She is survived by her spouse, Jerry Grandone of Gillespie, IL, son, Tim (Holly) Jones of Huntington Beach, CA, step sons, Jeff Grandone of Gillespie, IL, Jason (Megan) Grandone of Glen Carbon, IL, grandchildren, Nick, Mandy, step grandchildren, Jacob, Emily, Sophia, siblings, Steve (Regina) Stone of Bunker Hill, IL, Janice (Maurice Sullivan) Daley of Gillespie, IL.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael Stone.
Friends may call on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at SS Simon & Jude Church, Gillespie from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
Funeral mass will be on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at SS Simon & Jude Church, Gillespie at 12 p.m. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Gillespie, IL.
