Carolyn Davis, 79, of Alton, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020, at SSM St. Clair Hospital in Fenton, MO.
She was born on January 12, 1941, in southern Illinois, in Hardin County, the daughter of Paul and Lavelle (Smith) Rodgers.
Carolyn was a member of The Bethalto Church of God. She loved her pets and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include a brother, Bobby (Shelby) Rodgers of Bethalto; a sister-in-law, Irene Rodgers of Bethalto; her half siblings, Dennis Rodgers of Wood River, Paulie Rodgers of Bethalto, Marie (Danny) Pichee of Alton and Jimmy Rodgers of Wood River; a granddaughter, Hallie Trask of Edwardsville; and a great-granddaughter, Luna.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Grable; a brother, William Rodgers; and a niece, Melissa Rodgers.
Visitation and services will be private, with burial following at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. Pastor Dennis Laughlin will officiate.
